VERSION 1.0 POST-JAM IS OUT!


The new and improved version 1.0 is OUT! This is what the jam game should have been if I had more time to work on it. Here are all the patch notes for this update!

THE STUFF:

  • GLUE & TAPE? Web Build Lag - I've discovered the cause of the lag in the web build but I'm still trying to sort it out. In the mean time, I found a way to mitigate the problem. It will happen, but not as soon
  • BALANCED! Turbo - Shooting now can be held to automatically shoot. No more spamming bullets here!
  • BALANCED! That army! - Enemy spawn times are now faster. Better watch out!
  • BALANCED! Peashooters - Reinforcements now shoot bullets 60% weaker than the player bullets.
  • BALANCED! Safe Landing - Capture Zones now spawn away from the edges of the room to decrease chances of unfair deaths.
  • BALANCED! Where the Cap? - Capture Zones now won't be invisible before capturing, but shrink.
  • BALANCED! Expertise - After sometime in the same difficulty, you receive the Expertise effect, and all enemies will have them points reduced to 1.
  • BUG FIX! Trees Bug - Fixed a Bug where the difficulty increased faster than it should be increasing.
  • BUG FIX! Memory Leak - Fixed a Bug that lagged your game after some rounds of shooting bullets.
  • BUG FIX! OOB - Fixed a Bug where you could walk outside the room geometry.


  • JUICE! Zones now have a slight animation to show if you have touched them and if they are being captured.
  • JUICE! Bullets go spin.
  • JUICE! All sprites have been updated.
  • JUICE! Trees now pop out of the ground.


  • QUALITY OF LIFE! Reinforcement counter - Added a counter to the number of living allies.
  • QUALITY OF LIFE! Tree counter - The tree counter now shows how many trees are needed to go to the next difficulty instead of how many trees you planted.
  • QUALITY OF LIFE! Point per kill - Enemies now count for points as 10. And dead allies decrease points by 5.
  • QUALITY OF LIFE! Bullets of steel - Enemies hit by the leader bullet will get a slight stun and blink dark blue, to indicate they got hit.
